Autograph manuscript, signed, of a history concerning the stonemason named Richard of Eastwell, the supposed illegitimate son of King Richard III. Describes Richard's private education under anonymous sponsorship, the meeting between Richard and his royal father, and his occupation in masonry in order to preserve secrecy after the Tudor succession. Also includes: an excerpt from the poem "Richard Plantagenet A Legendary Tale" by Thomas Hull (1728-1808); a letter from Thomas Brett to William Warren, dated 1733 Sep 1, copied from "Peck's Desiderata Curiosa vol. II, p. 13.
